Beth Dyke – Planting Seeds of Hope
Beth Dyke has been more than a supporter she’s been a catalyst for change at Great Hope Children’s Home. Moved by the mission of the home, she joined hands with her sister (a teacher), the school she teaches at, and her colleagues from the Royal British Military Police in Kenya to bring lasting impact to the lives of our children.
Beth didn’t just ask what was needed—she listened, cared, and acted.
Together with her team, she helped launch several life-changing projects that continue to bless the home today. These include:
A farming project to support food sustainability and learning.
A chicken project to provide daily nutrition and small-scale income.
A dairy cow giving fresh milk for the children’s meals.
New boys’ washrooms a much-needed upgrade that has improved hygiene, comfort, and dignity for the boys in the home.
Beth’s leadership has brought together people from both the UK and Kenya educators, military personnel, and caring friends all united by a single purpose: to give these children a better future.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of Beth and her team from the Royal British Military Police in Kenya, Great Hope continues to grow not just in facilities, but in hope, resilience, and vision.
